Sand mold 3D printer

In May 2024, a sand mold 3D printer was introduced.

The shape of the water chamber, which is essential for the cooling performance in cylinder covers and cooling jackets, is very complex. During the mold-making stage, a considerable amount of skilled technique and labor is invested in the production of sand molds called cores that reproduce these shapes. By using sand mold 3D printers to create these molds, we expect to improve molding accuracy, achieve uniform quality, and reduce the need for skilled labor, and we are currently conducting research on this.
